BH Live is recruiting for a Centre Manager to lead our team at BH Live Active - Corfe Mullen. You will have previous experience of working within the leisure industry and ensure that the centre is well managed. You will be responsible for recruiting, scheduling and managing staff. You will ensure that the centre operates within agreed budgets and monitor performance targets for the centre.
As a registered charity and social enterprise, we are driven by a mission to improve the communities we serve by promoting physical activity for all. Improving health and wellbeing and encouraging more people to take part in physical activity is our key priority. Whether our customers are new to fitness, returning after some time out, or just looking for a local leisure centre with great facilities and a friendly team, we aim to provide a great experience for everyone.
Responsibilities:
- Have day to day responsibility for the operations and management of the centre.
- Ensure the centre is compliant with all health and safety procedures and requirements.
- Have a passion for providing great customer experience.
- Ensure an efficient cost-effective service is delivered, which meets the need of our customers and supports our values and behaviours.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the leisure industry.
- Be able to lead and manage a team.
- Be organised, self-motivated and proactive.
- Be able to manage and ensure budgets are adhered to.
