This is a great opportunity to fit work around your lifestyle. We are expanding our team of Casual Café Assistants based at the Pyramids Centre in Portsmouth. You will be an integral part of our team, providing great customer service whilst preparing, cooking and serving food and drinks to our customers.
You will:
- Provide a high‑quality catering service.
- Prepare, cook and serve food and beverages as required.
- Clean, tidy and prepare all areas associated with the catering facilities, following set cleaning schedules.
- Provide great customer service to everyone visiting the centre.
You will need:
- A basic food and hygiene certificate (training can be provided to help you achieve this qualification).
- To enjoy working with customers face to face and providing high levels of customer service.
- An understanding of the health and safety requirements of working with food and drink.
- To be available to do early starts and there will be some late finishes, when events are on.
- To be aged over the age of 18, due to selling and serving alcohol, to comply with licence requirements.
Due to the nature of our business hours of work will include weekends, bank holidays and evenings aligned to the centre's opening hours and scheduled events.
