The role: BH Live is recruiting for reliable, passionate and experienced Group Exercise Instructors to lead classes in our BH Live Active leisure centres across Southampton. We are looking for several genres including Les Mills, Body Combat, Body Pump, Zumba, Dance, Group Cycle, Aqua, Circuits, Yoga, Pilates and LBT/Body conditioning. We are particularly keen on receiving applications for Group Cycle and Aqua Instructors.
You will be a vital part of our customer experience; therefore energy, passion and a drive to support others on their fitness journey are essential requirements for this role. You will:
- Have strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, motivate and adapt a class to accommodate a wide range of ages and abilities.
- Create safe and effective classes that remain up to date with current industry trends.
- Deliver all classes with energy and enthusiasm, letting your passion for fitness shine through.
You will need:
- A Level 2 in Exercise to Music or Level 2 in Gym instruction alongside your qualifications to teach your chosen class. Les Mills and Zumba Instructors do not require a Level 2 qualification but will need to complete a team teach/audition prior to joining the team.
- Experience in leading and creating engaging exercise classes in at least one of the genres.
- To be reliable, approachable, friendly and motivating.
