The role: We are looking for qualified Level 1 Diving Coaches to join our team at BH Live Active – The Quays. Situated near Southampton Harbour, The Quays Swimming and Diving Centre is one of only four High Performance Centres for diving in the UK. There is a 10m diving board with an 18m diving pool, with public swim sessions and swimming lessons taking place in a separate 25m main pool.
You will:
- Deliver safe, engaging and development appropriate diving sessions for athletes at beginner level
- Conduct and create diving training sessions and programs
- Coach and support divers
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of divers at all times
- Assist Level 2 coaches in delivering structured diving sessions
- Support beginner divers with the basics of diving, including posture, take-off, entries, and water safety
You will need:
- A Level 1 Diving Coach qualification
- Knowledge of diving techniques and safety protocols
- Ability to design and implement training programs
- Satisfactory enhanced DBS clearance
