Our Financial Accountant will help build a forward-thinking finance function designed to drive efficiency and insight across our hospitality group. You’ll help integrate AI-driven tools into our workflows, automating routine tasks, enhancing accuracy, and freeing up time for value-added analysis. It’s an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that combines technology and expertise to deliver smarter, faster financial operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with cash and asset controls to safeguard company resources.
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Prepare and submit VAT and CIS returns in line with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Support external and internal audits, providing accurate documentation and insights.
- Identify and report financial risks and opportunities to management.
- Act as a systems specialist, leveraging ERP and financial tools to streamline processes.
What we are looking for
- Currently studying towards a recognised finance or accounting qualification such as CIMA or ACCA.
- Previous experience in practice, ideally within hospitality or the hotel sector.
- Strong understanding of compliance, VAT/CIS, and audit processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems, including Sage Intacct and other FP&A tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
