A new chapter in luxury hospitality is coming to St Mawes. This exciting new hotel will bring 56 beautifully designed bedrooms, a vibrant café, and a relaxing spa experience to one of Cornwall’s most sought-after coastal destinations. We will be looking for talented, enthusiastic people to join the opening team and help shape something special from the very beginning — creating exceptional guest experiences in a setting defined by style, comfort and seaside charm.
As General Manager you will have a rare opportunity to lead from day one—shaping the culture, building the team, and creating a guest experience that people will talk about long after they have left.
What you will be doing
- You will oversee all aspects of hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and a positive working environment.
- You will lead department heads, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure the property operates in line with brand standards, legal requirements, and company values.
What we are looking for
- We are looking to recruit an experienced General Manager who has led hotel openings and can demonstrate meaningful commercial success.
- Someone who will quickly step into operational roles when needed and maintain exacting standards across the property.
- Strong commercial and revenue leadership will be key, driving occupancy through agile decision making and proven experience creating a service culture built on warmth, anticipation, and individual attention.
