Role Description
This is a full‑time Setting Out Engineer role based on‑site in the Humber Region (Northern Lincolnshire). The Setting Out Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all site activities, managing surveys and measurements, preparing reports, and ensuring works are in compliance with designs and specifications. The role also involves liaising with project teams and clients, supervising site operations, and contributing to health and safety standards adherence. The engineer will aid in coordination between multiple teams and ensure projects meet quality and timeline expectations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in surveying, site layout planning, and using relevant tools such as total stations and leveling instruments.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and materials.
- Experience in interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Exceptional organisational, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols in construction and engineering environments.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
