About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Professional to lead and expand our TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) business across Europe, with a strong focus on the Iberian Peninsula and the UK. This is a strategic role for someone who combines technical B2B sales experience with a deep understanding of TPU applications and a strong customer network in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow TPU sales across assigned European territories.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key customers: OEMs (end users), converters (injection molding & extrusion), and compounders.
- Explore and penetrate new market segments in focus areas such as footwear, automotive, cable sheathing, industrial, and medical.
- Collaborate with internal technical and R&D teams to support application development and customized solutions.
- Lead commercial negotiations, sales forecasting, and market intelligence reporting.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer visits, with a travel commitment of up to 40β50%.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5β10 years of B2B technical sales experience, ideally in TPU.
- Alternatively, solid background in TPEs, engineering polymers, or specialty chemicals with active customer engagement in relevant application areas.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen and hands-on field experience in technical sales environments.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently within a multicultural, cross-border team.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages (Spanish, Portuguese, German, etc.) are a plus.
