The Head of Trading will lead the strategic oversight of Core insurance performance. This senior leadership role drives business performance through a comprehensive understanding of key trading levers, market trends, and competitor activity. As the central figure in optimising our approach to Trading, you’ll create unique value for our partners and customers. You will also play a pivotal role in shaping the trading strategy, working closely with senior stakeholders to align product and revenue ambitions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and maintain an overarching strategy that considers all trading levers, including Pricing, PPC, SEO, affiliate partnerships and product backlogs.
- Provide leadership and vision in monitoring, tracking, and driving performance insights for insurance products, translating complex data into clear, strategic recommendations and actions.
- Drive the rationalisation of business opportunities, ensuring only the most impactful initiatives are pursued.
- Lead cross-functional teams in validating opportunities that deliver the greatest value for customers and revenue growth.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor pricing activity, using insights to proactively adjust strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
What we’re looking for:
- Significant experience in a senior trading, pricing, commercial leadership role within the financial services sector, ideally in the insurance sector.
- Proven track record of influencing stakeholders at all levels, including executive level, with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams and lead through influence.
- Understanding of trading levers (PPC, SEO, affiliate marketing, pricing) and experience managing complex trading strategies.
