BGIS is currently recruiting for a Regional Commissioning Manager to join our growing Critical Solutions Group. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commissioning professional to lead high-performing teams and deliver complex projects across a fast-paced critical environments portfolio.

The Regional Commissioning Manager will provide leadership, operational direction, and project oversight to ensure commissioning projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate will play a key role in team development, project execution, and business growth across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • People Management
    • Lead, mentor, and develop commissioning teams
    • Conduct performance reviews and support employee development
    • Support recruitment and staffing planning activities
    • Promote BGIS values and a positive team culture
    • Support sales teams with technical input and client presentations where required
  • Project Management
    • Manage commissioning and existing building commissioning projects
    • Develop project plans, labour requirements, budgets, and milestones
    • Oversee commissioning teams across multiple projects
    • Monitor project progress, margins, and delivery performance
    • Support issue resolution and ensure projects are delivered to a high standard
    • Maintain oversight of project backlog and resource planning
  • Business Development
    • Support the development of new commissioning services and offerings
    • Assist operational and sales teams in securing new business opportunities
    • Manage departmental assets, equipment, and training requirements
About You
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within commissioning services
  • At least 7 years’ experience within electrical power distribution and/or mechanical systems
  • Minimum 4 years’ management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams
  • Commercially aware with strong client-facing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Visio
Preferred Qualifications
  • PE Registration preferred
  • BCA CCP, ACG CxA or QCxP certification preferred
  • LEED AP preferred
  • Relevant degree, military training, or equivalent industry experience
Additional Requirements
  • Ability and willingness to travel regionally
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility to attend client meetings and project sites as required
