About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Mobile Maintenance Engineer to provide technical expertise across a portfolio of commercial sites in Central London.

You will be the go‑to technical specialist, ensuring high‑quality, safe, and compliant maintenance of building systems.

This is a mobile role where you will support several buildings, lead on complex issues, and ensure smooth operation across your designated patch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned and reactive electrical and building services maintenance across multiple Central London sites.
  • Act as the technical lead, supporting site teams with troubleshooting, capacity planning, and system optimisation.
  • Diagnose and repair faults quickly and effectively to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure all work complies with statutory requirements, health & safety standards, and internal procedures.
  • Coordinate maintenance tasks and provide guidance to engineers and contractors.
  • Maintain accurate records, service reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, providing clear communication and technical advice.
  • Support improvement initiatives across the site portfolio, including system reliability and capacity performance.

Skills & Experience

  • Fully qualified Electrical or Mechanical (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition
  • Strong background in commercial maintenance, ideally in a mobile or multi‑site role.
  • Excellent fault‑finding and technical problem‑solving skills.
  • Confident working across a portfolio with varied building systems.
  • Strong communication and customer‑facing skills.
