About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Mobile Maintenance Engineer to provide technical expertise across a portfolio of commercial sites in Central London. You will be the go‑to technical specialist, ensuring high‑quality, safe, and compliant maintenance of building systems. This is a mobile role where you will support several buildings, lead on complex issues, and ensure smooth operation across your designated patch.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned and reactive electrical and building services maintenance across multiple Central London sites.
- Act as the technical lead, supporting site teams with troubleshooting, capacity planning, and system optimisation.
- Diagnose and repair faults quickly and effectively to minimise downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with statutory requirements, health & safety standards, and internal procedures.
- Coordinate maintenance tasks and provide guidance to engineers and contractors.
- Maintain accurate records, service reports, and compliance documentation.
- Build strong relationships with clients, providing clear communication and technical advice.
- Support improvement initiatives across the site portfolio, including system reliability and capacity performance.
Skills & Experience
- Fully qualified Electrical or Mechanical (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- 18th Edition.
- Strong background in commercial maintenance, ideally in a mobile or multi‑site role.
- Excellent fault‑finding and technical problem‑solving skills.
- Confident working across a portfolio with varied building systems.
- Strong communication and customer‑facing skills.
