At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We are problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will join BGEN â one of the UKâs largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver nextâgeneration, valueâadded engineering solutions.
What will you be doing?
- You will create practical, valueâfocused project solutions that deliver strong Totex outcomes.
- You will take time to understand needs, assess risks, and ensure everything meets our standards and governance.
- You will manage planned and reactive work, keeping systems like WMS and M2i accurate and up to date.
- You will prepare clear documentation to support confident decision making and work closely with colleagues, frontline teams, customers, and partners.
- You will capture project outputs, efficiencies, and asset updates, raising Early Warnings or Change Requests when needed.
- Above all, you will champion excellent health and safety in every activity.
What youâll bring
- A Level education (or equivalent) with a relevant engineering qualification.
- Experience working in operational water environments.
- Strong analytical ability, especially around cost and risk evaluation.
- Background in capital project delivery and contract management.
- Solid understanding of stakeholder and customer engagement.
- Knowledge of planning and resource scheduling processes.
- Organised, able to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
- Confidence to challenge data and assumptions.
- Adaptable, collaborative, and naturally problem solving.
