This role will join BGEN – one of the UK\’s largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value‑added engineering solutions.

What will you be doing?

• Involved in every stage of a control project, from design through development, testing, and commissioning.
• Supported with clear technical documentation that keeps everything simple and transparent.
• Creating PLC and HMI software that makes systems intuitive and reliable.
• Developing SCADA solutions that give powerful tools for monitoring and control.
• Adding value by reverse engineering existing systems to produce accurate design documentation.
• Mentoring colleagues, sharing knowledge, and helping the whole team grow together with confidence and care.

What you\’ll bring?

• Experience with Siemens (and ideally Rockwell) hardware and software.
• Background in the Water and Wastewater treatment sector.
• Proven track record delivering complex control projects.
• Skill in interpreting client standards and user requirements.
• Ability to reverse engineer existing control software with care.
• Strong communication plus effective time and project management.
• Commercial awareness to add real value.
• Full UK driving licence for flexible travel.
