This role will join BGEN - one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience.

We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions

What you'll be doing?

  • You'll be the go-to technical expert for both field and office-based engineering teams, providing practical support, guidance and troubleshooting to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • You'll carry out detailed site surveys, working closely with clients to understand requirements and producing clear, accurate cost estimates for any remedial or additional works identified.
  • You'll be responsible for developing thorough Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), ensuring all activities are properly planned, risks are mitigated and project teams are fully briefed before work commences.
  • You'll support the Project Delivery team throughout the project lifecycle, sourcing materials, tracking progress and proactively highlighting any risks, issues or potential delays to help keep projects on schedule.
  • You'll manage a range of minor works projects from inception through to completion, while also supporting the delivery of larger-scale projects, ensuring quality, efficiency and programme objectives are achieved.

What you'll bring?

  • Do you have proven MEICA experience gained within a fast-paced environment?
  • Do you have the ability to confidently manage high-volume, short-duration site-based works?
  • Do you have an understanding of water and wastewater processes and the equipment associated with them?
  • Do you have knowledge of temporary works and confined space practices?
  • Do you hold a valid UK driving licence and have the flexibility to provide support across multiple sites?
