What you'll be doing

  • You will provide supportive line management for all LV Engineering colleagues, carrying out performance reviews, setting clear objectives, and guiding development.
  • You will champion wellbeing, engagement, and retention while managing any people‑related processes with fairness and care.
  • You will mentor the engineering team, plan resources, balance workloads, and monitor capacity to shape future needs.
  • You will support succession planning, uphold quality standards, and contribute to audits and technical reviews.
  • You will maintain strong documentation, embed safety in all activities, collaborate closely with wider teams, and play an active role in business planning, growth, and coordination meetings.

What you'll bring

  • HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Significant experience in LV control panel, MCC, or industrial electrical engineering.
  • Previous experience managing engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of engineering standards and quality requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience within the UK Water or Utilities sector.
