The Apprenticeship you will complete: SCQF Level 7 qualification in Electrical Installation.

Where will you be working?

At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will join BGEN - one of the UK’s largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.

Entry Requirements:

  • Maths, English and Science subjects at National 5 level or above or equivalent
  • Full EU or UK driving license
  • You must be over the age of 18 on 1st September 2026

What will you be doing?

  • Install electrical services
  • Read and understand engineering drawings, wiring and circuit diagrams
  • Inspect and test electrical installations
  • Diagnose and rectify faults on a range of circuits and equipment
  • Use small hand tools such as hammers, saws, screwdrivers etc.
  • Install the systems needed for wiring and cables such as brackets and containment
  • Lay, pull, and string cables
