Where you’ll be working

At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will join BGEN – one of the UK’s largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide hands‑on technical support to both field and office‑based engineering teams, ensuring they are confident, well‑equipped, and able to perform effectively.
  • Conduct detailed site surveys aligned with client requirements, producing accurate and transparent cost estimates for any required remediation work.
  • Develop comprehensive Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure all work is planned safely and teams are fully informed before project commencement.
  • Support the Project Delivery team by sourcing materials, monitoring project progress, and proactively identifying and communicating potential risks or delays.
  • Manage a portfolio of minor works projects while contributing to the successful delivery of larger‑scale projects, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timelines are maintained.

What you’ll bring

  • Ability to manage high‑volume, short site‑based works with confidence.
  • Understanding of water and wastewater processes and related equipment.
  • Knowledge of temporary works and confined space practices is beneficial.
  • Valid UK driving licence for flexible site support.
