Where will you be working? At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will join BGEN - one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.

What will you be doing? You will be the friendly, go‑to contact for all electrical design work coming from the BGEN Head Office, making sure customer needs are understood and supported throughout each project. You will create clear reports, scopes of work, and both concept and detailed designs that guide successful delivery. You will help keep projects on track by balancing priorities, maintaining quality, and meeting time and cost targets. You will also build strong working relationships with design teams and equipment subcontractors to ensure every stage runs smoothly and collaboratively.

What you’ll bring:

  • HNC or Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • At least five years’ experience delivering electrical installation designs, ideally within pharmaceutical projects
  • Membership of a professional institution is desirable
  • Strong background in UK clean and wastewater utility projects
  • Experience across the full project lifecycle, from concept to construction support
  • Solid understanding of CDM Regulations 2015
  • Familiarity with WIMES industry standards
