Where will you be working? BGEN is one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the Water, Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear and Food and Beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.

What will you be doing?

  • Welcome new starters and guide them through their onboarding journey.
  • Act as a friendly point of contact, coordinating inductions and helping them settle in with confidence.
  • Support the Payroll Clerk and step in as the go‑to person when they’re away.
  • Help manage team emails, keep files and systems organised, and provide admin support to the wider team whenever needed.
  • Look for opportunities to improve processes, making our ways of working smoother and more efficient for everyone.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous admin experience and a welcoming approach to onboarding.
  • Experience in infrastructure or nuclear projects, with awareness of vetting and compliance.
  • Interest in learning payroll and confidence handling confidential information.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and IT skills (especially Excel).
  • Positive attitude, clear communication, and ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Enjoyment of teamwork and fast‑paced environments.
