Overview
The focus of this role will be primarily supporting the CEO of GFI Securities. The candidate must demonstrate experience of working in demanding and challenging roles and have the credibility to deal with Executive Managing Directors across the business and high-profile external individuals. It is critical to have a robust and resilient personality and to be able to demonstrate flexibility and the ability to prioritise effectively. It will also be crucial to gain trust with the Executives, including other EAs to be able to provide an exceptional confidential service in both private and business matters.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide sophisticated calendar management, prioritising inquiries, and requests internally and externally, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day engagements.
- Arrange frequent complex business travel and accommodation.
- Organise management meetings and board meetings.
- Manage transportation and personal/company credit cards.
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails in a professional manner.
- Complete a variety of administrative tasks to help facilitate the CEO’s ability to effectively lead the organisation, including expenses, signing, presentations, and invoices.
- Acting as gatekeeper in the Executive area.
