Position Overview
As BGB continues to expand globally this EU-based role will play a key part in strengthening our regional presence and client partnerships across Europe. The EVP Management Supervisor will serve as a senior leader within our European operations ensuring alignment with BGB’s global standards while driving local market success and collaboration across teams and geographies.
- The EVP Management Supervisor in Account Services is the Account team leader overseeing one of BGB Groups subsidiaries responsible for establishing and maintaining client/agency strategic partnerships, providing ongoing strategic oversight of assigned accounts and maintaining agency business practices and financial standards across territory while driving team performance and development quality work execution, client satisfaction and agency growth.
- The EVP Management Supervisor in Account Services must have a proven track record with years of experience of not only independent execution of the SVP Group Management Supervisor responsibilities but must also demonstrate the ability to successfully onboard, train and coach others in the Account Supervisor role.
- The EVP Management Supervisor in Account Services serves as the senior client business lead on their accounts with a focus on management of prioritized and/or high-volume accounts. Must have a proven track record with years of experience of not only independent execution of the EVP Management Supervisor Account Services responsibilities but also a demonstrated record of substantial business growth and staff development.
Role Requirements
- Leadership Expertise: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse teams fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the Account Services department.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to develop, implement and assess strategic plans that align with client objectives and agency goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of agency financial practices including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting with a track record of achieving financial targets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to both internal teams and external clients.
- Coaching and Development: Experience in mentoring and developing team members with a focus on enhancing skills and career growth within the organization.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing client needs and market dynamics.
- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the medical communications landscape including trends, challenges and considerations relevant to healthcare and HCP promotions.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with industry-related tools and technologies that enhance account management processes and improve client service delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- 14 years of progressive account management experience in medical communications, HCP promotion or client-side product promotions experience is preferred.
- At least 10-12 years of experience managing direct reports.
- Experience across multiple products, therapeutic categories and client companies.
- Bachelor’s degree.
