The Associate Director, Engagement Strategy supports the development and execution of customer engagement and experience strategies across various touchpoints and digital channels. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who is eager to contribute to CX planning, journey mapping, and omnichannel campaign strategy within the pharmaceutical and healthcare space.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of strategic engagement plans that align with brand objectives and customer needs.
- Support the creation of customer journey maps, identifying key moments to optimize the customer experience.
- Assist in the development of omnichannel strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Collaborate with media, analytics, and content teams to ensure alignment across tactics and performance goals.
- Conduct competitive research and market analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Draft POVs on digital trends, engagement tactics, or new technologies relevant to healthcare marketing.
- Aid in the creation of ecosystem and channel maps that illustrate integrated campaign approaches.
- Gather and analyze data to support insight mining and optimization efforts.
- Participate in internal and client-facing workshops to support ideation and planning.
- Provide light media strategy support in collaboration with media partners—assessing target audience behavior, channel performance, and opportunities.
- Support CX initiatives and advocate for customer-first thinking across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in engagement strategy, brand planning, customer experience, or digital marketing—pharmaceutical or healthcare agency experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with customer journey mapping, media channel strategy, and omnichannel planning.
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical advertising landscape, including HCP and DTC initiatives.
- Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Veeva, Sermo, and Doximity a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate insights into action.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple workstreams.
- Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Curious mindset with an eagerness to stay on top of emerging trends in engagement, media, and technology.
