AI Product Manager Position Overview:
The AI Product Manager leads the strategy, prioritization, delivery, adoption, and measurement of internal AI initiatives that advance BGB’s AI operating model. This role turns the agency’s AI vision into a practical roadmap across GPT/LLM enablement, agentic workflows, Claims Library, Orchestration Engine, Cortex/memory, 3D Science tools, production standardization, and workflow automation. The role is accountable for ensuring AI investments are prioritized against business value, built with the right governance, adopted by teams, and measured for operational and commercial impact.

Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the AI product portfolio and roadmap across GPT enablement, agentic workflows, orchestration, knowledge reuse, Claims Library, Cortex/memory, production standardization, and strategic AI tools.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize business opportunities suitable for AI enablement or automation based on value, feasibility, risk, reuse potential, adoption readiness, and alignment to the AI operating vision.
- Gather requirements from cross‑functional stakeholders and translate business needs into clear product briefs, PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, rollout plans, and measurement plans.
- Partner with engineering, platform, UX, SMEs, and external partners to move solutions from concept to pilot, from pilot to production, and from production to scaled adoption.
- Define what belongs in an MVP versus future releases, ensuring early efforts prove adoption, business value, quality, and scalability before scope expands.
- Coordinate pilots, user testing, workflow mapping, training needs, change management, communications, feedback loops, and release readiness.
- Establish product‑level governance standards with IT, Security, Medical, Editorial, Legal/Compliance, and agency leadership, including data use, content review, source traceability, and human oversight.
- Define KPIs and OKRs for each AI initiative, including usage, adoption, cycle‑time savings, quality improvements, cost avoidance, revenue opportunity, margin protection, and user satisfaction.
- Monitor adoption metrics, operational impact, user feedback, risks, blockers, and enhancement opportunities after launch.
- Create executive‑ready updates that clearly communicate progress, value, risks, dependencies, decisions needed, and next steps.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management, technology delivery, digital transformation, innovation, operations, or enterprise software experience.
- Experience managing enterprise software, AI, automation, data, workflow, or knowledge management initiatives from strategy through adoption.
- Strong understanding of AI/LLM capabilities, agentic workflows, governance requirements, product discovery, agile delivery, and change management.
- Experience writing PRDs, roadmaps, business cases, MVP definitions, success metrics, rollout plans, and executive status updates.
- Ability to evaluate AI use cases through a business‑value lens, including efficiency, quality, risk, adoption, revenue potential, and operational impact.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, prioritization, facilitation, and decision‑framing skills.
- Comfort working across technical teams, functional SMEs, external partners, and executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools as an active part of your development or product workflow.
- Ensures the AI operating vision becomes a disciplined product portfolio, not a collection of disconnected experiments.
- Connects technology build decisions to agency priorities, workflow transformation, change management, governance, and measurable business outcomes.
- Helps the agency move fast while staying focused on adoption, quality, scalability, and commercial value.
