About Us

Founded in 1999, our goal is to supply the global automotive industry aftermarket products and components that meet or exceed OE quality and testing. We enable garages to fit aftermarket alternatives with confidence while ensuring consumers leave with a guarantee and a healthy balance.

Position Overview

As the Manager of our fast‑paced Goods‑In operation you will lead a team of associates through their daily workloads of unloading both loose and palletized containers, overseeing the accurate booking in of all deliveries into the WMS. Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, you will control the release of stock once it has passed technical inspection and met operational requirements. Additionally, you will work with the supply chain to plan inbound deliveries, identify issues, implement corrective actions, and lead continuous improvement projects.

We operate a multifunctional warehouse. Our associates support different areas: Goods‑In where we receive multiple containers per day; the UK Track Delivery Area for next‑day dispatch; the Export Delivery Area for worldwide shipping. Managers must be multi‑skilled, flexible, and forward‑thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the day‑to‑day Goods‑In operation, ensuring all inbound deliveries are unloaded, checked, and booked in accurately.
  • Manage and support warehouse associates, allocate workloads, and monitor performance against operational targets.
  • Ensure stock is received into the WMS accurately and released only when technical inspection and operational requirements are complete.
  • Liaise closely with Supply Chain and other warehouse functions to plan inbound activity and prioritise urgent deliveries.
  • Investigate delivery discrepancies, damaged stock, and process issues, implementing corrective action as required.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide regular updates on inbound performance, stock issues, and operational challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Provide flexibility across the multifunctional environment as required.

Training & Experience

  • Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role, ideally within a fast‑paced environment.
  • Sound understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and goods receiving procedures.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills working with large data sets (Filters, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams to achieve operational targets.
  • Ability to assess operational issues and implement effective corrective actions.

What We’re Looking For In Our Managers

  • A leadership mentality.
  • A role model demonstrating self‑discipline and supportive teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and team‑working skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong computer literacy, including knowledge of WMS, scanners and relevant software.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Honesty, trustworthiness, flexibility and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary package.
  • MHE licence opportunities.
  • Workplace pension.
  • 20 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, increasing after 2 years of service.
  • Overtime available.
  • On‑site parking.

This position is full time and permanent.
