Customer Service Advisor at BGA – Swindon, United Kingdom
Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic Customer Service Advisor to deliver excellent service to new and existing customers, support the Customer Services Manager, and help maximise the distribution of the BGA brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming telephone calls professionally and serve as the main point of contact.
- Make outgoing calls to customers regarding queries.
- Respond to internal and external enquiries via email and phone promptly.
- Enter UK and export orders via email, phone and our electronic ordering system.
- Manage and update customer accounts, including new accounts in our internal and WMS system.
- Manage the DHL dashboard daily.
- Collaborate closely with UK and Export Sales, Product Management and Marketing to maximise distribution of the BGA brand.
- Keep CRM, Smartsheet updated and prepare reports on Power BI.
- Build deep, trusted relationships with key accounts.
- Run monthly sales promotions with key accounts.
Essential Requirements
- Experience using MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Proven customer service or telephone‑based role experience.
- Excellent phone manner and multitasking ability.
- Fluent in English.
- Highly motivated, confident, enthusiastic, and team oriented.
- Methodical and organised.
Desirable
- Experience within the automotive aftermarket sector.
- Knowledge of CRM, Power BI and Smartsheet.
- Account management and customer retention skills.
