This wonderful city centre pub is seeking a highly organised, dedicated, and hardworking individual who is looking to build a reputation for quality dining in this beautiful part of the world on the North Pembrokeshire coast, in the smallest city in the UK, St. Davids.
You should have:
- A passion for producing high quality locally sourced food, and delivering exciting menus with a variety of cuisines to our customers, with a drive for vegetarian, fresh fish, locally sourced produce and alternative dietary requirements;
- A realistic understanding of kitchen economics and financial targets;
- Good team leadership and management skills;
- A good command of mathematics and written English;
- Good IT and computer skills.
Duties to include the development and delivery of:
- A menu, concentrating on fresh, local and seasonal produce to our requirements and a bar menu to include a wide variety of meals etc. all to our exacting standards;
- The usual day-to-day duties of running a busy kitchen with a team of 2-4 chefs and kitchen porters as the season demands. This position requires a lot of input throughout the peak season – you would be expected to take time out in the quieter winter months.
Job Type: Full-time, start date asap
Hourly Rate: £15 - £16 (to be discussed)
Bonus Scheme: From £4,000-£8,000 annually (to be discussed)
Required experience in kitchen management: 2 years
Required License: Driving License, Food Hygiene Certificate
