Job Description
As the Manager of our fast-paced Goods-In operation you will be responsible for leading a team of associates through their daily workloads of unloading both loose and palletized containers, overseeing the accurate booking in of all deliveries into the WMS. Reporting into the Inventory Control Manager, you will control the release of stock once it has passed technical inspection and has met operational requirements. Additionally, you will work with the supply chain to plan inbound deliveries, identify issues, implement corrective actions and lead continuous improvement projects.
We operate a multifunctional warehouse, and our associates are deployed to support different areas around the warehouse. From Goods In where we receive multiple containers per day; through to our bespoke UK Track Delivery Area dispatching orders for next day delivery; onto the Export Delivery Area.
