We are seeking a motivated and experienced IT Manager to lead all activities within the IT department and ensure the efficient operation of the company’s network, client services, databases, and IT equipment. Working closely with department managers, you will identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions that align with business objectives.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT services, including business intelligence, balancing speed and quality of delivery with a strong commercial focus. The role requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise, programme and project management capability, and effective leadership to successfully deliver key infrastructure and software initiatives.
As a clear and confident communicator, you will be able to translate complex technical information for both technical and non-technical audiences. You will have proven experience managing an IT team of similar scale and complexity, alongside a strong track record in project management and the delivery of major infrastructure transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, setting clear objectives and priorities
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including infrastructure, networks, and systems
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business needs
- Manage IT budgets, vendors, and third-party service providers
- Ensure cybersecurity best practices, data protection, and compliance
- Plan and deliver IT projects, upgrades, and system improvements
- Provide escalation support for complex technical issues
- Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation
- Proven experience in an IT Manager or senior IT leadership role
- Strong knowledge of networks, servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity
- Experience managing IT projects and budgets
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop technical teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS) are desirable
- ERP, WMS upgrade migration experience desirable with experience in Oracle.
