We are looking for an ambitious and commercially focused Aerospace Business Development Manager to join our team and drive profitable, sustainable growth across the Aerospace channel.
Reporting directly to the
BFC Sales Director , you will play a key role in developing new business, strengthening existing customer relationships and building a strong, sustainable sales pipeline.
This is a highly customer-focused position, combining face-to-face engagement with strategic sales activity to identify, develop and convert new opportunities.

Duties
- Develop and deliver profitable and sustainable sales within the Aerospace channel.
- Develop relationships with both new and existing customers through regular face-to-face engagement.
- Generate and deliver sales opportunities as part of the Aerospace team.
- Promote the BFC Aerospace channel as part of The Tibbetts Group through customer visits, written communication, social media and telephone activity.
- Recognise and work within divisional and channel budgets, with the aim of exceeding targets for both turnover and Co S Gross Margin.
- Grow the BFC Aerospace sales funnel through targeted activity and maintain its status through Winman CRM.
- Maintain and make available a schedule of customer visits through the MS Outlook calendar.
- Work closely with relevant internal sales staff to ensure effective information sharing and opportunity follow-up.
- Develop, maintain and enhance a corporate presentation promoting BFC’s Aerospace capabilities and product offerings.
- Work in conjunction with other Group departments to achieve common objectives.
- Carry out any other duties that may be required and agreed in line with Group procedures.

- Meet or exceed the annual divisional sales and profitability budgets.
- Create a medium- to long-term growth trajectory in line with The Tibbetts Group’s overall plan.
- Build and maintain a strong and sustainable Aerospace sales funnel.
- Develop profitable customer relationships and identify opportunities for continued growth.
About You
We are looking for someone who is commercially driven, proactive and confident in developing customer relationships.
- You will ideally have
- Proven experience in a sales or business development role within the Aerospace industry.
- A strong ability to develop new business and grow existing customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive and target-driven approach.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of sales and profitability.
- The ability to build effective relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
