We're currently looking for Freelance Video Producers for Forces News, which provides editorially independent news and sport to the British Military around the world, with over 2 million subscribers and followers across social media.
Responsibilities:
- Bolster our existing in‐house team of journalists and content‐makers.
- Be involved in writing and picture‐sourcing for 'The Download', our daily digital news update.
- Produce social videos based on our original feature content.
- Support our video feature production team.
Qualifications:
- Journalism degree or similar professional qualification.
- Current experience of working in a newsroom is beneficial.
- Experience of video storytelling editing and ability to write video news scripts.
- Knowledge of editing tools, such as Premier Pro, Photo Shop, GFX and audio databases.
Work Schedule and Location:
Freelance shifts will be offered from Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm or 9:00am – 5:00pm, based at our Head Office at Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire.
