This role leads Brown-Forman's marketing strategy and organization across India, Middle East, Africa and Türkiye/CIS. This role is responsible for driving sustainable growth, building brand equity and shaping the long-term direction of the Brown-Forman portfolio across a diverse and dynamic region.
Meaningful Work From Day One
As a key member of the IMAGE Leadership Team and the EAA Marketing Leadership Team, this role partners closely with regional and global stakeholders to ensure world-class marketing strategies, strong organizational capability and exceptional execution across all markets and channels. The working style for this role is 4 days a week out of the office, with Fridays working from home.
What You Can Expect
- Leads Regional Portfolio Strategy: Defines and executes the long-term portfolio and marketing strategy across the IMAGE region, aligning local brand plans, investment allocations, and growth initiatives with global priorities.
- Develops Marketing Organization & Capability: Inspires and builds a high-performing, future-ready marketing team, fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, agility, and continuous improvement while driving robust succession planning.
- Drives Marketing Excellence & Innovation: Oversees the effective execution and optimization of the full marketing mix - including brand communications, digital, advocacy, and trade marketing - while fostering an environment of innovation and calculated experimentation.
- Partner with Global and Regional Stakeholders: Serves as the primary marketing voice for the region to influence business priorities, working closely with cross-functional partners in Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, and HR.
- Navigates Complex Growth Markets: Guides local teams through unique commercial environments, providing judicious stakeholder management and strategic direction for key expansion projects, particularly within dark markets like India and Türkiye.
- Manages Commercial & Financial Performance: Establishes clear performance metrics, minimizes non-working spend, and optimizes brand budget allocations to maximize corporate return on investment.

- Senior Marketing Leadership Experience: Extensive leadership experience steering marketing agendas within FMCG, beverage alcohol, luxury, or premium consumer goods environments.
- International Matrix Acumen: Proven ability to operate, influence, and challenge commercial leaders within highly matrixed, international global organizations.
- Geographic & Route-to-Market Expertise: Demonstrated success managing marketing execution across multiple countries or emerging markets, utilizing both distributor-led and direct-route-to-market models.
- Strategic & Financial Credibility: Strong commercial acumen and financial fluency, with a track record of translating consumer insights into actionable growth and managing complex brand budgets.
- People & Agency Leadership: Advanced capability in hiring, coaching, and developing multi-disciplinary teams alongside a track record of building impactful partnerships with external agencies.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation and leadership communication capabilities, with absolute fluency in written and spoken English.
- Mobility: Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time, including long-haul travel to developing countries.
