The HR Generalist (International) reports to the Manager, HR Business Partner. The HR Generalist provides support to multiple HR Business Partners focused on specific, global business units within the organization, while also resolving general employee inquiries, issues, or concerns and championing employee engagement. The Generalist is a foundational HR resource for their assigned region and portfolio of business units, delivering consistent, high-quality HR support across the full employee lifecycle. This role balances regional nuance with company-wide HR standards, acting as a trusted partner to managers and employees alike. The HR Generalist manages day-to-day HR operations, administers benefit programs, and ensures compliant, efficient HR processes from hire to separation.
What You’ll Do
- General ownership of the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, for international regions, and is backup support for the Americas.
- Provides day-to-day HR support to managers and employees for designated business units in alignment with HR Business Partner(s), serving as the first point of contact for employee inquiries on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Compliance Requirement Oversight: Semi-Annual Compliance Training Probation Reviews Administration relating to HR key initiatives, including performance management, promotion cycles, job changes (promotions, internal transfers, lateral moves, and demotions).
- Conducts lower-risk employee investigations, resolving employee relations issues once fully ramped.
- Analyzes data trends, such as turnover, eNPS, and other quantitative metrics, to inform business decisions.
- Creates and facilitates HR presentations for various audiences (such as wide-scale HR meetings or behavioral assessments with leaders).
- Spearheads use of AI within HR, using available tools to increase operational efficiency.
- Owns or co-owns HR strategic projects as determined by the HR Leadership Team.
- Serves as a regional resource for employee benefits inquiries, guiding employees through enrollment, life events, and plan options, including HR/Benefit Support Tickets.
- Partners with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, Payroll, & HR Operations teams.
- May own in-person office and culture events, as driven by the culture committee and leadership.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4+ years full-cycle HR Generalist experience.
- Strong knowledge of regional employee benefits (either EMEA or APAC).
- Knowledge of federal or local employment regulations in the region.
- Basic Excel knowledge: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and using or visualizing data to present to key stakeholders.
- Knowledge of HRIS platforms and basic reporting.
- Ability to apply sound judgement and discretion in managing work and handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Self-starter with demonstrated accountability for results.
- Ability to gain trust, respect, and support through business knowledge and functional competence.
