Over the past months, we\’ve seen a rapidly growing need for hands-on technical specialists who can transform ambitious AI concepts into real-world enterprise software deployments. In response, we’re forming a dedicated Forward Deployed Engineering team to collaborate closely with our clients – diving deep into their specific challenges, then designing and rolling out custom solutions. You’ll deploy our AI-driven technology stack, directly delivering measurable impact through our newest platform capabilities and groundbreaking innovations.

About the Role

We’re looking for software engineers who excel at understanding unique customer needs and building tailored solutions that harness BeyondRisk’s AI-6 platform. As a forward deployed engineer, you’ll collaborate with our clients and internal specialists to design, implement, and refine scalable products that address their toughest problems. You’ll also craft the foundational abstractions and best practices that will guide all future deployments. Working alongside Sales, AI/ML, and Product teams, you’ll gain deep insight into how our technology is used and provide critical feedback to help shape its evolution. You won’t be stuck in a mere “pre-sales” loop—instead, you’ll dive into the technical depths, from integrating complex data pipelines to developing custom enterprise applications, all powered by our AI-6 platform. Your work will drive real business value and transform how organizations operate.

This role is primarily based in London, U.K.. We embrace a flexible, hybrid work environment – expect to spend most of your week engaging onsite with clients and part collaborating with your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate Deeply with Clients
• Spend time understanding business challenges—sometimes at the executive level—and translate them into clear technical requirements and project plans.
• Architect & Implement End-to-End Solutions
• Plan data models, orchestrate data pipelines, and build full-stack applications leveraging languages such as Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript.
• Embed AI Workflows
• Utilize and fine-tune AI-driven automations (Task-Specific Master Agents) to ensure solutions solve tangible business needs.
• Own Delivery & Outcomes
• Guide projects from ideation to production deployment, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure final solutions are robust and maintainable.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally
• Work with AI/ML teams, product teams, and client success managers to continuously refine our platform and extend its capabilities.
• Empower Client Teams
• Offer hands-on guidance, training, and best practices to help customers independently manage and expand upon your solutions.

You’ll Excel in This Role If You:

• Have Proven Software Engineering Experience
• Several years of building and deploying real-world applications in production environments (front-end and/or back-end).
• Enjoy Customer-Focused, On-Site Work
• You thrive when meeting face-to-face with stakeholders, understanding their pain points, and coding solutions alongside their teams.
• Adapt Quickly to New Problems
• You’re energized by shifting priorities and relish diving into uncharted technical territory.
• Communicate Well Across Teams
• You’re comfortable explaining technical details to both expert engineers and non-technical business leaders.
• Have Some Cloud/Data Familiarity
• Experience with databases, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), or AI/ML tools is a plus—but an eagerness to learn is even more important.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency with at least one major programming language (Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Experience deploying solutions on customer infrastructure, including setting up CI/CD, databases, and containerized services.
• A solid understanding of data management and ETL processes; AI/ML experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Willingness to travel (up to 50%) to collaborate closely with client teams—onsite problem-solving is key.
