Beyond HR is a leading provider of HR and Health and Safety Services in Northern Ireland.

Due to our continued success we wish to recruit a suitable individual to join our Beyond Safety brand as a:

  • HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVISOR
  • £30,500 plus Bonus, Hybrid working, Full Time

Reporting to the Senior H&S Consultant the job holder would be expected to carry out the following main duties:

  • Advise clients on their legal obligations relating to health and safety in the workplace.
  • Undertake H&S Audits of client sites / premises and provide the client with a suitable report of findings and recommendations.
  • Assist clients to undertake accident investigations when required.
  • Work with our clients to develop policies and procedures, risk & COSHH assessments and safe systems of work which can be rolled out to their employees.
  • Provide H&S related training and/or briefings to our clients and their employees as and when required.
  • Provide clients with written updates on new legislation, best practice and other relevant information.
  • Liaise with enforcing authorities on behalf of clients when required.
  • Help with the commercial development of our health and safety service across our operational areas.
  • Any other duties that are within the competence of the jobholder.

The successful candidate will have: at least 2 years practical experience gained in an industrial environment, a NEBOSH Certificate, strong interpersonal, communication and IT skills.

Although not essential, it would be advantageous if you had the NEBOSH National Diploma and membership of a professional body, such as IOSH.

We are looking for candidates who are flexible and positive in their approach to work.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and will be comfortable working both independently and within a team

In addition, due to the nature of the role the successful person will be required to travel to client sites across Northern Ireland and, to a lesser extent, Scotland and England.

Therefore, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
