Associate Director – Financial Crime Data

As a leader of our business, you will work on challenging projects, shape and grow BeyondFS, and have autonomy to develop client relationships and own sales opportunities. Responsibilities
- Shape, develop, and grow BeyondFS propositions.
- Contribute directly to sales and business development by achieving personal targets.
- Lead and deliver complex transformation programmes and grow client accounts.
- Contribute to recruitment objectives and other people‑related activities.
- Lead and manage internal projects.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in financial services or consulting, with exposure to a large range of products and geographies.
- Proven experience building, leading, and motivating data teams in financial crime.
- Experience designing and delivering target‑state architectures for data/technology.
- Acumen with data environments related to 1st‑line financial crime, regulatory or operational functions.
- Deep understanding of data quality management, governance, processes, and tools.
- Demonstrable expertise in data analytics to enhance detection, investigation, and strategic management of financial crime risks.
- Ability to lead data transformation, integration, and harmonisation.
- Senior‑level stakeholder engagement, including C‑suite relationship building.
- Sales origination and client development experience, including securing and expanding key accounts.
- Track record in shaping and growing consulting practices, go‑to‑market strategies, and internal development.
- Team leadership and people development, coaching, training, and recruiting consulting teams.
Skill Set
- Excellent communicator, able to explain complex ideas to non‑technical audiences.
- Credible data leader and strategist.
- Advanced analytics and data modelling.
- Proficient with Python, Snowflake, AWS, Actimise, and other vendor solutions.
- Data architecture and data quality management.
- Financial Crime domain knowledge (TM, KYC, etc.) and regulatory frameworks.
- Model validation and explainability, including tuning, calibration, and reporting.
- Practical experience delivering change in complex, multi‑disciplinary environments.
Remuneration & Benefits
- Competitive remuneration: base salary £105k+ (depending on experience), up to 30% total of bonus components (sales, company, personal performance).
- Leave: 25 days holiday, increasing by one day per year of service up to 29 days; birthday off.

Location
