Senior Graphic Designer
This Global consultancy has an 85-strong internal creative agency that designs highly creative and innovative work on projects across the globe. Working within their creative agency, as a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be working on cross-discipline projects, collaborating alongside a very talented creative team that consists of Brand and Graphic Designers, UX & UI Designers, Motion Designers & Animators, 3D Visualisers, Developers and Creative Project Managers, to create work that has a purpose and is very varied. As they are a consultancy, they have multiple clients and a wide variety of projects, and they proudly deliver cutting-edge creative work. This role is based out of their Birmingham office and they operate a hybrid work policy of 3 days onsite. The salary for this role is £35-45k depending on experience, plus a very good benefits package.
The Role
As Senior Graphic Designer, you will support the Studio Lead and Principal Designers in driving quality and creativity throughout the team. You will bring your ideas, passion and high standards to a range of graphic design briefs across brand, design and layout across print and digital. You will be empowered to challenge the brief and go over and above with your creative thinking.
Whether working collaboratively with other Designers on larger projects or individually on smaller briefs, you will always be happy to add value to your work day to day.
You’ll be taking briefs directly from stakeholders, communicating and conversing clearly with the internal team and external clients, so it’s important that you have good communication skills.
You will bring your ideas, passion and problem-solving approaches to help them deliver fresh, creative solutions. You’ll be a team player and embrace a variety of work, enjoy the buzz of a dynamic working environment and be brimming with creative ideas.
They welcome Designers having a broad skill base, perhaps you are into doing some digital illustrations or have dabbled with motion, but at the core, you are a designer who has conceptual ability and you have a love of good, clean design.
About You
You are:
- A Senior Designer with strong conceptual and design craft skills. You are curious about new technologies, techniques and ways of creating designs and campaigns, and enjoy pushing boundaries
- Your portfolio showcases your creative work, whether that be across print design, illustration, or digital design, showcasing fresh ideas and a clean, contemporary design style and a good appreciation of typography
- You will be able to rationalise your ideas and present your work with ease. You consider yourself to have strong creative vision and can clearly communicate your ideas to others
- You are comfortable working directly with clients and enjoy building working relationships, and particularly enjoy being part of a busy, collaborative creative team
- You thrive in a fast-paced, progressive environment and love coming up with new ideas and sharing ideas with your colleagues
- At any level, any previous exposure to projects containing AR/VR and digital solutions would be advantageous
