With beautiful offices in Cardiff, this role is easy to commute to. If you have great experience in communications and PR such as writing press releases, media relations, content writing, and hands-on in the delivery of communications campaigns then this could be a great opportunity for you.
This is a full-time, permanent role with a flexible salary depending on your experience up to £25k. The Client: Our client is an award-winning communications agency that has several offices, with this role being based in Cardiff. This team has an impressive portfolio of clients supporting them with change, reputation management and growth across a range of sectors including low carbon, sustainability, renewables, education, transport and housing. If you have an interest in media and current affairs / public affairs, you are going to love this role and the campaigns they work on. Not only will you be joining the central hub, but you will also be working collaboratively with the other teams allowing a culture of sharing and collaboration.
The Role: As PR Account Executive you will be responsible for the delivery of communications and PR campaigns. You will work closely with the Account Managers and support all areas of PR across content, comms, media relations and campaign implementation. You will be working on campaigns across PR, public affairs and stakeholder engagement.
About You: To be the successful candidate for the role will have the following experience:
- Have a good understanding of PR and communications and be able to spin lots of plates
- Reading, monitoring and reporting on the media on a daily basis and having a good grasp of the media environment and business landscape
- Experience in working with different stakeholders, managing these relationships
- A passion for or experience in working within stakeholder management or public affairs
- Able to use a media database and compile media lists to maximise client opportunities
- Working with the press to sell in features, press releases and interviews, managing press briefing and meeting journalists to evaluate coverage
- Write content for press releases, articles, blogs, thought leadership, publications and consultation materials
- Excellent communication skills across all channels
- A passion for PR, communications and public affairs
