Are you an Event & Engagement Manager looking to join a fab not-for-profit organisation on a remote basis? This role will be focused on managing their event programme and will be strategic, creative, and hands-on in delivery. This is a permanent role with a salary of £45k-£50k.
You will be coming from an event background and be looking for a role that you can really shape and grow long-term. You will also have a passion for driving engagement activity and love looking at event performance, making recommendations and feeding this back.

As Event & Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of a range of events along with managing engagement activity. You will be focused on building strong relationships and will be both strategic and hands-on. This is a new role for the business and so lots of scope to really own it and grow it for the long term, giving you lots of potential long-term opportunity.
You will be managing a range of events both in-person and virtual and you will enjoy spinning lots of plates. We are looking for someone with experience in taking real ownership, creative in your approach and loves to be hands-on. Alongside event experience, a key part of the role is bringing experience in engagement. Working on creative ideas to increase engagement for members and being able to measure this and improve.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience:
- Strong experience in event management either from an in-house company or an agency
- Good experience in managing an event calendar or event portfolio
- Experience in developing event and engagement strategy but also happy being hands-on with delivery
- Building strong relationships with a range of people from venues, suppliers, vendors, through to working with stakeholders and members
- Working with different teams such as marketing ensuring that all collateral is on brand and promoting the events in the best possible way
- Good experience in content writing and able to support with content to promote events
- Engagement will be at the heart of everything you do, encouraging member participation and engagement and coming up with fresh ideas to improve this
- A passion for reporting and looking at how successful your event was. You will use this feedback to improve events and use this information and insight to make good recommendations for future
