Beyond Talent Solutions is supporting an established Leicester based legal firm in the recruitment of an experienced Legal Cashier to join their finance team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Cashier who is looking for a long term role within a well established organisation, where they can take ownership of their workload and play an important role in supporting the firm's day to day finance operations.
The Role
Working as part of a supportive and professional finance team, you will be responsible for a varied range of legal cashiering duties, including:
- Processing client and office account transactions
- Completing bank reconciliations and account balancing
- Processing payments, receipts and cash allocations
- Supporting billing and month end processes
- Handling finance and cashiering queries
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate and up to date financial records
- Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and internal procedures
- Providing wider finance support as required
About You
We're looking for someone with
- Previous experience working as a Legal Cashier
- Strong knowledge of client and office accounts
- A good understanding of SRA Accounts Rules
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- The confidence to work independently and with minimal supervision
You'll be someone who is reliable, proactive and able to make a positive contribution within an established finance team.
