Beyond Recruitment are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Assistant Management Accountant to manage financial records and ensure the accuracy of accounting processes. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial health of the organisation by maintaining precise and up-to-date financial data.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of Management Accounts
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
- Accruals and prepayments
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
- Assist with VAT returns and tax filings as required
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with external accountants or auditors during audits or financial reviews
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role within a professional environment
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management
- Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are desirable but not essential
