We are looking for caring, motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as a Care Assistant. You'll play a key role in supporting our residents with their daily routines, personal care, social activities and community involvement. Each day will be different, but every day you'll make a genuine difference. This is a service of two locations that provide nursing and residential care and support to younger adults with complex health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support in line with individuals' care plans
- Promote independence, choice, and dignity in all aspects of daily living
- Support with personal care, meals, and medication (when required)
- Encourage and assist residents to take part in recreational and social activities
- Support residents on outings, day trips, appointments, and activities
- Maintain accurate care records and report any changes or concerns promptly
- Work collaboratively with nurses, seniors, and management to ensure best outcomes
We are looking for people who are compassionate, patient, and genuinely enjoy helping others.
Essential
- A caring and respectful approach to others
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to complete care training (full training provided)
- Reliability and a positive attitude
Desirable
- Experience in a care or support setting but not essential
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it)
- Full UK Driving Licence
