You will work outdoors across a variety of tasks, helping to keep the course looking its best for members and visitors while developing your skills in turf care and course presentation.

About The Role

  • Key Tasks
  • Maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and surrounds to high standards, ensuring consistent playability and appearance.
  • Support course setup and presentation, including hole changes, tee placement, and hazard marking.
  • Carry out turf care operations, such as aeration, scarifying, top dressing, feeding, and overseeding.
  • Maintain bunkers, course furniture, signage, and boundary areas, keeping everything neat and safe.
  • Operate and maintain machinery and equipment safely, ensuring it remains in good working order.
  • Monitor turf health and identify pests, weeds, disease, or maintenance issues, reporting these promptly.
  • Follow health & safety procedures, contributing to a well-presented course and professional working environment.

Required Criteria

  • Minimum 2 years experience in grounds/greenkeeping.
  • Knowledge of turf maintenance and course presentation.
  • Ability to operate and maintain grounds machinery.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Understanding of health & safety requirements.

Desired Criteria

  • Previous golf course experience.
  • Greenkeeping or horticultural qualification.
  • Experience measuring green speeds.
  • Experience training or mentoring others.

Salary Β£29,264.00 per year
