An excellent opportunity has become available for a qualified and experienced gas heating engineer to join Beyond Housing. Based at Whitby, the successful candidate will be qualified and experienced in domestic gas and heating installation, servicing and repair, and will provide an out-of-hours call‑out service on a 1 week in 4 or 5 basis, as part of a small, dedicated team of engineers.
As part of this role, the engineer will undertake gas repairs, maintenance and servicing in domestic properties, and may also be required to install boilers and heating systems across our housing stock.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, or equivalent City & Guilds advance plumbing craft
- ACS gas competencies: CCN1CPA1, CENWAT, CKR 1, HTR 1
- Desirable competencies: MET1, MET2, CONGLP1PD
- Proven experience of gas and heating installation, repairs and servicing in domestic properties
- Full driving licence
