The Neighbourhoods team delivers a wide range of services across the Redcar and Scarborough areas, helping to maintain and improve our local communities. Our work includes grounds maintenance, caretaking, painting, fencing, and other essential environmental services. As part of this team, you will play a key role in keeping our neighbourhoods clean, safe, and welcoming.
Your duties will include removing fly‑tipping, clearing moss from hard surfaces, maintaining bin stores, and carrying out general grounds maintenance tasks, such as hedge cutting and strimming. The successful candidate will enjoy working outdoors and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Experience using a PDA is desirable and a current driving licence is essential for this position. As part of this role, you may need to mentor an apprentice, volunteer or work experience placement.
