The predicted salary is between 30150 - 36850 £ per year.

You will work as part of our Complex Repairs Team, alongside team leaders to ensure Beyond Housing is able to respond effectively to disrepair claims, damp and mould issues, and complex repairs. You will undertake inspections, draw up survey reports and detailed specifications of work, and will then monitor the progress of works against quality standards, timescales, H&S requirements, and costs, keeping customers updated throughout.

The work will involve liaison with legal and insurance teams, and acting as an expert witness in any court proceedings. You’ll also work alongside planning teams to identify trends to drive organisation‑wide actions to proactively reduce future issues. You will bring a strong understanding of building construction, maintenance, and common property issues, with the ability to identify and resolve defects such as damp and mould in a practical and effective way.

You will play a key role in supporting compliance with Awaab’s Law, ensuring that damp and mould cases are assessed promptly, accurately diagnosed, and resolved within required timeframes to safeguard customers' health and wellbeing. Your work will contribute to delivering a proactive, risk‑based approach to property management and regulatory compliance.

You will work closely with customers, colleagues, and contractors, so strong communication and a collaborative approach are essential. A commitment to delivering safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained homes is key, along with a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude to problem solving.
