Are you a surveyor who enjoys variety, solving problems and making a real impact? We're looking for an asset planning surveyor to join our asset planning team and help shape the future of our homes and communities. Working across a diverse portfolio of homes and other assets, you'll carry out stock condition surveys, home health checks, HHSRS assessments, domestic energy assessments and other property inspections that support our long-term investment planning. You'll collect and analyse property data, diagnose defects, identify investment needs and provide technical recommendations to help ensure our homes remain safe, compliant and fit for the future. Your findings will directly inform investment priorities and asset management decisions across our portfolio. You'll also support feasibility studies and investment projects, helping us make informed decisions about our assets.

At Beyond Housing, we take a holistic, customer-focused approach to asset management. We believe investment decisions should be shaped by both property data and customer insight, so you'll engage with customers during inspections, listen to their feedback and use their experiences to help inform future investment planning.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in a surveying
  • Has experience in inspection or property-related role
  • Has a good understanding of building construction, housing standards and the identification of property defects
  • Has experience of stock condition surveying, HHSRS assessments and property data collection would be advantageous
  • Is a proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • Is a confident communicator
  • Is committed to delivering excellent outcomes for customers and communities.
