This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in protecting our customers, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving service excellence across our homes and communities. Supporting the cyclical compliance manager, you will assist in the delivery and continuous improvement of key compliance programmes, providing technical expertise across gas, electrical, and fire safety disciplines, as well as preparing witness statements for submission to court when required.

You will make a direct contribution to Beyond Housing’s purpose by ensuring our homes remain safe, compliant, and fit for the future. Working closely with colleagues, contractors, and key stakeholders, you will help deliver services our customers value, homes they want, and places they are proud of, all delivered by people who care.

The role offers a varied mix of leadership, technical assurance, performance management, and service improvement, giving you the opportunity to influence how compliance services are delivered across the organisation. From overseeing audits and investigations to driving innovation and continuous improvement, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance while enhancing the experience and wellbeing of our customers.

About you

We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual who is passionate about customer safety, regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality services. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships, provide technical guidance, and support others to achieve excellent outcomes.

You will hold, or be willing to work towards, recognised qualifications in gas, electrical, or fire safety disciplines, alongside a commitment to continuous professional development. With strong organisational skills, sound judgement, and a solutions-focused approach, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy balancing technical expertise with leadership responsibilities.

About the team

The cyclical compliance team is a small, supportive, and highly professional team dedicated to keeping customers safe in their homes, and Beyond Housing fully compliant with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements. We manage a range of critical compliance programmes, working collaboratively with specialist contractors and in-house teams to deliver domestic and non-domestic gas safety inspections, five-year electrical installation condition reports, and communal and domestic fire door inspection programmes.

As part of the team, you will work alongside experienced and knowledgeable colleagues who are committed to continuous improvement, high performance, and delivering excellent outcomes for customers.
