We are looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join a busy 59-place nursery in Brighton. You will be joining an established team with a supportive manager, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to step up into a leadership role or further develop their management experience.

About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery while helping to maintain high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding. You will play an important role in leading practice, mentoring staff, and ensuring excellent outcomes for children.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Experience as a Room Leader or similar leadership role within an Early Years setting
  • EYT (Early Years Teacher) candidates also welcome
  • Someone actively looking for career progression or with experience leading practice and supporting teams
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements

What We Offer

  • Salary up to £37,000 depending on experience
  • 40 hours per week preferred, but 32 hours pro rata will be considered
