We are looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join a busy 59-place nursery in Brighton. You will be joining an established team with a supportive manager, making this a great opportunity for someone ready to step into a leadership role or further develop their management experience.

About the role

As Deputy Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery while maintaining high standards of care, learning and safeguarding. The role includes helping to lead practice, supporting and mentoring staff, and ensuring positive outcomes for children.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Experience as a Room Leader or similar leadership role
  • EYT candidates are also welcome to apply
  • Someone looking to progress in their career or with experience supporting teams and leading practice
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding
